Looks good. I will be doing the same thing with my shop next week! Just think how much easier all of that moving would be with casters on everything... Just sayin'. :)

dowecheatem&how must be young and full of piss and vinegar. they way I move in the shop it would take two weeks just to paint what you did.
I am 3 years into my shop remodel.

2 coats of the top color. i used behr paint and primer on the bottom, a thick well covering paint. went with glidden pro exterior semi gloss to get the color i was looking for. MISTAKE! goes on like water. 2 coats used a full gallon of paint. wont use that again. anyway i hated the color at first but after the 2nd coat its looking better. not the lambo orange i wanted but you cant get pearl in housepaint! :)

ordered a 5" yellow vinyl stripe and a 2" black stripe for the accents. hope they come in by the weekend

Looking good. You've been very busy. I would have spent the first week off drinking beer and watching TV. :)

the next pic is a 6" white vinyl stripe and a 2" black vinyl stripe that will get laid on the walls this week
looks like the top tool lid needs to come off but it will fit underneath! fridge is now accesable. beer thirty!! :)

I wouldn't take the top of the tool box off it is anything like Cman box. Once you take the top off, there will be no way to lock it up.

actually the lid is hinged and then theres 3 sliding locks that are also hinged. i just popped the pins and pulled them out so the lid can stay

ok who's bright idea was it to remodel a garage in the middle of summer? oh wait, it was mine!! DOH! its been brutal hot but im making some progress.

serviced the ingersoll rand 2 stage compressor. new filter oil and added a longer drain setup along with rubber isolators.
temp setup of my best find to date! 2 36" wide and 2 24" wide stainless steel medical cabinets for 500$ !! once i have the upper cabinets mounted ill build a counter for the lower cabinets. somewere between 96" and 112" havent decided yet.
i have 3 5' by 4' butcher block tops. any idea on how to best tie 2 of them together to get 112" span?

walls painted and striped. maxjax motor and hyd tank permanently mounted on the wall.
almost there!!

Also the car talk lawyers.

Looks really good. The only thing I would have done is add more light.

its on the list. 4 sets of track lighting going into the ceiling. just doing things in steps so i can still use the garage as i remodel. to much stuff to move it all outside

I would dowel the ends together and if you have a Kregs drill jig, drill them so you can attach some screws from underneath. Or it you have a router you can make a couple of pockets and pull them together. Personally I'd just screw them. But you want to dowel or biscuit joiner them to make sure they stay in line with one another.

BTW....I think the orange and gray look great together :thumbup:

It's looking fantastic! What have you got planned this weekend? I need to swap the water pump, install the thermostat you sold/gave me, and change out the exhaust gaskets. I haven't ordered the gaskets yet, so I'll do that now. I guess you'll likely be charging for the use of the garage now that's it all prettied up. :)
