Removing chuck from drill press spindle

Could anyone please explain how to remove the chuck from the spindle pictured? One of the teeth on the chuck is broken and I'd like to replace it. I believe this is an old delta press from the 1940's. There isn't any type of screw head inside the chuck. Any help would be great.
