I've got myself into a bit of a problem due to my impatience.
I had a coolant leak coming from a block off plate on an aluminum engine block. I proceeded to JB weld around the block off plate to seal it. It didn't work, now I've got JB weld stuck on the engine block.
Is there a safe way to remove the JB weld besides pulling the whole motor and grinding it down?
Engine Block is Cast Aluminum

with a small flat screwdriver and a hammer will get it off.
