I have an older KR655 with I believe the original casters. There is a side box and now a top box installed, so the whole assembly is probably fairly heavy. The original casters are 5" x 2" 300 lb rubber over iron and are still available from S-O. They said a 600 lb 6" x 2" medium duty monoprene (soft) is available. I took a look at the current single bank roll-away S-O sells, the KRL756 and it uses a 900 lb rated GLA-polymer caster.
So, what do you think - do nothing (keep the old casters on there), replace the casters with the same p/n, install the 'soft' 600 lb rated ones or install the 900 lb heavy duty ones? (Note that the 900 lb ones are like $100 each, the others like $40 each.)
