I got a little work done last night and tonight. I set up my tubing bender and started the roll cage on the ole Jeep.

First I had to figure out what I wanted the cage to look like.

I agree I am the same way. My welding skills are not very good but there is only one way to learn!

I snuck out to the garage for a couple of hours today and placed a few more tubes in the Jeep cage.

squares up the main hoops . Cut and notched dash and windshield bars and tacked in place

How do you plan on finishing the tubing? (paint, or powder coat)

Probably paint . I would have to outsource powdercoat. But I may look into it and check pricing. I really like powder coat. I’ll have to paint or powder coat frame as well. I fabricated the complete frame out square tubing.

Don’t be to hard on me it’s my first attempt at bending tube. So I’m just winging it . Any tips and constructive criticism is welcome.
