So I stumbled yesterday on a local classified deal for 5 ridged tools with a dead battery. Didn't care for anything really but the reciprocating saw that was in the deal, as I already had a set of Ridgid Tools and batteries etc.
So now that I got all these tools and I am trying to pawn off, I looked at the battery an its actually one of those double sized ones. The battery is from 2011, its a 18V, Li-ion.
I charged the battery and it seems to charge, all green icons. No red indicators. Once fully charged and put in the tool - nothing. I took my volt meter and measured across the +, -, T1 and T2 terminals and all read 18V +.
Any experts out there what might be the issue? I've googled it and everyone appears to have a issue where the thing won't charge but that doesn't appear to be my problem. Any help is greatly appreciated as always!
