Congrats.

Congrats.
Congrats! Double trouble!![]()
congrats
Congrats!
My son (3 year old) was jealous when my daughter was born back in June. We just started to ask him to help us do a bunch of things when we had to change a diaper or needed the burp rag etc and he feels included in taking care of her so he started not to be as jealous.
Congratulations on your new addition to the family.

Read this last post then as usual, read everything from the top.....Great thread, love the Jeeps! And happy belated Congrats on the new one.
The days and months fly by. Enjoy it!
2 months, wow! hang in there, mine's a bit over 4 months now and it's going fast.
The new opener setup looks fantastic. I remember looking into those liftmasters but sadly there is not enough room on the side of mine![]()

What are your thoughts on the green hinges? I have a similar issue with my door and have been looking for a solution myself!I also have been wanting to upgrade to the spring loaded “green hinge” system so I did that as well. My doors have a large gap where heat can escape, and are really sloppy. The move in and out with the wind. Due to an unforeseen circumstance, I need to send the top hinges back to exchange them for a different size, so the install isn’t quite complete yet. But I like the product
That’s all for now!
I know this is all just meaningless “stuff” but damn, it’s been a long road to get this space where it’s at now. I’ve worked very hard, and pretty proud of where things are at. Also proud of how far I’ve come with my abilities, and what I’ve been able to tackle myself over the years.
Everything looks great.
It's good to take a step back once in a while to reflect back on what you have accomplished. For me it puts things into perspective when I get bogged down by certain things taking longer than I feel they should.

You should be proud!
I'm similar in wanting to be accomplishing stuff all the time. I know you're in the same boat as me with a baby and a toddler now, and from what I can tell I'm sure they're your number one priority like my kids are mine. But I also get that self-inflicted nagging feeling inside of getting very little done in the way of projects. Can't help it, I always want to be making something! That feeling of making no "progress" can be tough. But the pictures don't lie, you've gotten a ton done over the years. And like @zmotorsports said it's the perfect time to reflect on that and take a little breather. I'm trying to do the same...

Just wanted to drop by. It has been a long bit. Congratulations on the new addition!
All the best to you and the family from Jen and I,
Chris

Your shop looks great! I think you'll be really happy with the jackshaft openers.
Thank you for the green hinge recommendation. I just ordered three sets for my shop. Exactly what I need!

Dan, when I did a quick search, Zoro had a much better price than Amazon. Like you, I have three doors to do (doing two to start). Amazon price for two sets is $215.98 -- Zoro price (with free shipping) is $140.42. I didn't include sales tax in either case so it's a savings of more than $75. Gonna put that money in my Milwaukee M-Crack fund.If this first set works out, I have two more doors to retrofit.
I want to thank you too for mentioning the green hinges. I didn't know those were a thing. I just bought a set and need to install them. If this first set works out, I have two more doors to retrofit.

Does your Liftmaster light work off motion or the garage opener I have the older style that wireless but has a mind of it own Your garage and the way you set it up is one of my Favorite garages on here . Great job on the Jeep console
Hinges arrived today. That made a significant impact. There's no gap anymore!!

Nice job on the speakers and headunit. Carplay is definitely nice to have. I like the USB pass-through, too, nice and clean.
