So, after being in the shop for the past several weekends, wrenching on my Explorer, it's becoming evident that I need some kind of container or something for tools.
I've got toolboxes.
I've got a cart.
Those work great for certain jobs.
Not so much the work that keeps me on my back under my rig.
Does anyone make a low to the ground bin/box on wheels? Maybe something with 2" or 3" casters (all 4 swiveling) that's the size of the bottom tray on the average work cart?
After dinking around for the better part of a day, I find myself with a pile (or two, depending on if I was working on both sides) of tools that I just don't want to put away that evening. I come out the next day, start working again, and create another pile.
If I had some sort of bin that I could put everything in, it'd be a lot handier than having to get out from under one side of the truck, go over to the other side, dig through the pile over there, and go back to work.
It'd also save me losing stuff - instead of a pile to get strewn across the floor, it'd all be in one handy spot, waiting for me to clean them up and put them away.
Worse case scenario, I've got some scrap plywood, and I could go snag myself a cheap 2x4, buy some casters, and build my own. I still may, but was just curious if anyone knew of anything like I've poorly described.
Thanks, all!
