Hey all,
I am wiring the air compressor and have 10-2 running from the panel through the attic. I want to transistion in the attic to 3/4 ' pvc conduit through the ceiling and down the wall for 6 ft to the PVC recepticle box. I know that some say its ok, some not. I have read that heat is the concern, but short runs for infrequent uses are ok. I would rather not have to put a junction box and then have to buy #10 THHN and junction. unless that is only legal eagle way to do it, then so be it. Its a 30a circuit, 16 feet away from the panel. 10 in the attic, 6 feet in conduit. Thoughts?
