Hello guys, I have a question about the roof on a garage Im gonna be using. I dont own the building, but I can use the garage but Ill have to fix the roof. It is a lean to type of roof, that butts up to a trussed roof, hard to explain, but it forms a "funnel" if you can follow. Why someone would do this is beyond me. I know the right way would to be remove the shed type roof and use trusses in the opposite direction of the other trussed roof. I dont want to invest that much money in this application. Is it possible to use metal flashing to flash where they join, then ice and water shield, then rolled roofing? The shed roof leaks very bad now and Im certain some plywood needs to be reaplaced. Will this work in this instance or am i just waisting money? Thanks guys
