Two days ago I went ahead and used the Rustoleum Epoxy Shield kit on my garage floor and used the flakes. I added the Behr fine sand to the paint to give it some traction. I wasnt quite sure if you guys would recommend putting a sealer on it. If so should I add more sand to the sealer to give it some grip when it gets wet or snows here in MD. Theres also a spot that I was running out of flakes on the floor by the door and it looks a little bare. I wasnt paying enough attention towards the end. I figured if I went and took some spray adhesive and some more flakes I could glue them then epoxy seal over them a day later. The problem is I am having a party in 5 days. If I glue chips tonight, finish painting the block edge around the garage and seal it tomorrow; would that be enough time for the epoxy sealer to harden for use.

Thanks for the input.

I'm not sure if you should try to glue the flakes down, but one of the epoxy vendors on here might have more information how to go about it. I think they generally recommend doing a clear coat over everything if you want to keep it shiny.

Regardless, welcome to the Garage Journal, and post some pictures of your project.
