Thanks.

I dont have one that was recalled (same model # but incorrect date code). I was hopeful I could get a more modern replacement because of the recall but no such luck.

I will look for a P118 or P117 though, thanks!

Yeah, I would stop and never again use the old yellow one of that model number. That is the one I had that messed up batteries I put in it. Mine was recalled, but if it wasn't, I would have tossed it. New ones are 10000% better! - Paul

Wow! They must need a tax write off or something. That 25 bucks doesn't even pay for the plastic on em! :lol_hitti

At that price if I find it, out goes any weak One+ Ryobi battery I've been hoping to revitalize. Recycled of course or donated or repurposed.

Jeez Home Depot is giving these packs away. I don't see we will see a Ryobi battery promotion for awhile.

Confirmed that they are now $25.02 even though tag still said 50.04. Managed to grab the last one on the shelf.

Nooooo! Just wait for the old 4.0's to be up for sale like this:lol_hitti

Heh I have 4 of them already, I cant see needing more (until the ones I have die)

All these years I did fine with just 3 battery packs, so I could almost sell 1 of the Milwaukees and put that back into the bank. Those worklight/battery combos for 50 after the tiered promo were probably the "sleeper deal" of the whole sale/promo stacking.

I should return all my Milwaukee stuff and just use Ryobi :)

Based on past "sales/specials" we could return all the Milwaukee stuff and buy them again next year. Ryobi seems to be setting the new LOW price on 4Ah lithium battery prices. For $25-50 why spend the money on rebuilding or repurposing other than personal satisfaction. I use my Ryobi batteries for the hard surface blower and light duty string trimmer. Now powering that 18V Ryobi miter saw if I buy one is looking pretty neat for a quick trim cut.

Somehow HD has proven that they can always go lower with a bang and I hope they prove it to me :)

Not fond of Ryobi, bought a drill and I'm on my 3rd set of batteries replaced under warranty so far. The batteries seem like junk. I'm going with a different brand.

Which model of the batteries are you using? I got some of the 1/2 height ones and they were dead in less than 6 months. ...and of course I forgot to register them so I was REAL glad when the high capacity batteries went on for cheap.

Checked my two local HD's today and no sign of the 4Ah twin packs any more - back to $99 singles. Clerk didn't know anything about the batteries but told me that the .04 and .02 prices indicated close-outs - I said yeah, these were "Black Friday" leftovers.

Guess I'll have to be satisfied with the twin pack I got for $40.03 using a HF 20% off coupon....

Bring one of the Ryobi battery packs + receipt into the CS area and ask for a return/rebuy. IMO using the HF coupon was great but now the new low price is more attractive.

Took just my receipt in today and they price matched the new lower price for me. They even let me use the 10% Lowes mover coupon again on the $25.02 price. I received $48.16 back!!! That puts my 4 batteries at less than $50!!!

I didnt get kookie with coupons and such. I did buy a few clearance items using the 5% off Lowes match, when I tried to get an adjustment they re-applied that discount for me without question.

I have looked at three Home Depot stores so far with no luck on the Ryobi batteries. Anybody know of a store that still has them in the Minneapolis, MN area?

By the time I decided to buy a pair of the LXT batteries the local store was all out. I was able to order them online for the $99 price. I noticed that online the price is $169 now!

I bought two of these last week at $50.04; I wasn't sure I would keep them hoping for another markdown like this. Thanks for letting me know about. I took my receipt in today and got the adjust for the $50.04 plus tax.
The 4 or 5 they had left last week were of course long gone, as was the hook they were on on the end cap and the shelf tag, too.
Just wanted to say thanks!!

I just got denied on the price adjustment on mine. The employee was going to do it, but needed manager approval because of the amount(20-2 packs). Manager said he would not honor it on clearance items. i'm thinking I may take them all back tomorrow just to spite him.

I'd rather other people get them for 25, then me for 50.

I will.

I'll give it a shot at the gulfgate store in Houston in the morning. If they give me attitude, I'll return them. I should keep them because I can sell them profitably, but this irks me.

I was lucky enough to get the return/rebuy based on receipts alone today. I was unlucky enough to find that every store from San Francisco to Lake Tahoe is out of the 2 pack clearance special. I was then lucky enough to end up having a good ski day in Lake Tahoe and spend most of my return/rebuy refund on Apres Ski bevvies!

And I wondered if I needed 2 more packs! That's a lot of batteries

Try another store if you have that available. I haven't had much difficulty getting price adjustments. It can help to accept the store credit as I think they keep the sales volume.

I would tell you to return them and rebuy them yourself, but last year when I bought these (they were $100 and I decided one pair was all I could afford), I returned the second set. The CS guy was kind of cranky and seemed surprised that the computer told him the batteries were to be disposed of instead of restocked.

Question - has anyone gotten a price adjustment on something ordered online for ship to store?

The heated hoodie in medium happened to come back in stock on the web last night. It's full price there but I ordered anyway.

When it comes in, would the store adjust the price?

I would definitely try another store, different manager or call Home Depot customer service line.

Customer service just told me I am SOL. They said it's store manager discretion.

I too would try another store. Ive had differing results with different stores so it definitely pays to try another if you have one you can get to.

Tried to get creative, read the return desk can go up to $500 w/o mgr approval.

Took in 9, said those were the only ones I hadn't opened, can you do the adjustment on these? She called the mgr after she saw the new price, and they talked forever. Looked over her shoulder and saw " 4 on hand".

She said she couldn't do it because it's s clearance...

I countered that she has 4 on hand, I'll just return them and take them myself and rebuy since its a current item, etc. The line behind me was building. " hey, just give me store credit. As much money as I spend in here, that's fine w me.

She sighed and did it.

At least it averages my cost down a bit. I would have barely broke even on eBay.

FYI, it's the gulfgate store in houston that shows 4 on hand.

Did a "return and buy back" yesterday. Also used another HF coupon - brought the price down to $20.02. (I've started clipping the HF coupons and keep a stack of them in my wallet. Local HD and Lowes accept them without question.)

So, two $100 batteries for $10 bucks each. 90% off on something I actually use.

Not bad. Thanks GJ'ers
