I'm not sure how hot of a deal this is. I think it is a black friday only release but the regular model looks to be around $100.

I think, but am not positive, that these are a limited offer product and won't be available regularly. That would make sense why the original price is $59.97. Home Depot did some similar stuff with battery pack offerings this year that were bundled together that are a limited offer only. The "original price" is really the holiday deal price.

Anyway, I ordered one of these the day after Christmas for my miter saw. I wasn't expecting a whole lot. It came in yesterday and I put it together and this thing is a tank and completely above my expectations for a $50 tool stand. I think I am going to really like the ability to quick release the saw so that it can be easier stored and moved.

I ordered a second one just a few minutes ago that I am planning to use to mount my tabletop table saw to as well.

If you are a super deal shopper don't forget to buy it with a discounted gift card (11%) and use a cashback click through (5%) to get it for even less.

If you really want to pinch your pennies I can get tell you where to get a Home Depot $25 card for $20 too.

Could you tell me how tall this one is at the saw mounts?
The last one I looked at was 31" and I would have to extend the legs at least 4" to get it anywhere near a comfortable height for me.

Just ordered this last week, should be here Tuesday. I have been needing one and for the price I think it will work for my purposes. Had a $50.00 gift card from Christmas.

Anyone know how wide it is with the arms extended all the way out? Couldn't find that on the website or in the reviews.

I have a one with exact design but Craftsman brand and different color. I installed a 10" Dewalt sliding double bevel. I just drilled new holes and it was painless. Not the best stand but it works well stationary and I bought it for $50 on BF 3yrs ago.

If anybody need photos, lmk.

Is that like a universal mount you think? I need a stand for my $99 Hitachi Lowes black friday special, LOL

The two green pieces come off the rail completely so they can be set at whatever width your saw is. If your saw doesn't have mount holes that are inline you would need to mount a piece of plywood to the rails and then your saw to the plywood.

yup - looks exactly like the Craftsman one in a different color. Got mine (sears) 2 years ago on BF, seems they are a Bf regular at $50. Pretty good for the cost - universal mounting was a little off with my old Delta 10" miter but it't the saws fault not the stand. a few spacers (washers) and presto.

Menards sells one that looks identical but has wheels which seem a little pointless because they are up at the top so it is difficult to use the wheels with the saw mounted. Good for rolling the stand empty, though. I mounted the 12" Hitachi miter saw with no problem. No drilling necessary.

That is what I did to mount a Ridgid saw on a different, but similar Ryobi stand. The one I had was blue, and it was very sturdy.

Ordered one as well-I had put off buying one as typically at $100 or so, I couldn't justify the price vs. my usage rate. At $49 however......

Thanks OP.

I was planning on building a cart, but now I'm thinking about getting one of these stands instead. Thanks rslaback for the width info.

Has anyone used this stand with the HF 12'' sliding miter saw?

I didnt realize until I got home that the box said don't use with 12'' or larger sliding saws. It seems pretty sturdy but I cant really judge the function of it until I get the saw mounted.

Wonder if this would bolt up to the Dewalt table saw they have on blowout? (Dw745)

I picked one of these up last night. My local HD had 9 in stock $49.00 I was able to put it together last night and put the miter saw on, however it doesn’t give you a whole lot of saw mounting options. I could only get my Craftsman saw to line up two of the mounting holes without having to mount it to a board first but I think it is going to work out just fine. Other than that seems to be a great buy at that price. Thanks for the info. :rocker:

Um, unless you're thinking something very unconventional - no. And I wouldn't want to be anywhere around anyone who tried mounting a table saw onto a platform like this.
safety is #1 0 if the miter saw tips you let go the saw stops... not going to happen with a table saw.

If you mount the saw laterally so that the blade is aligned with the stand (and the arm can be used as an outfeed table) this would be more stable than a traditional saw stand due to its length. Side to side it would be a bit less stable but that isn't the direction of force when using a table saw. I'm not worried.

That is a terrible idea.

I'll leave instructions with my wife that after it kills me she should log into garage journal to tell you that you were right.

Edit: For giggles I did some research. The footprint of this saw stand is 23" x 56". The footprint for the stand for the table saw in question is 23" x 22".

I bought one (when it was $59) and mounted up my Ryobi 10" sliding compound mitre saw. I love it! For 49 bucks, it's an even better deal. Like others have said, its usually a 99 dollar stand, and I would gladly pay the regular price for how good it is.

Sorry to bring a dead thread back to life but wanted to add that if any of you guys who bought this want to use this stand for more than just your miter saw, Menards and Sears both offer additional mount sets that will fit this stand.

I currently have mounts on my benchtop table saw, miter saw and soon will have a Craftsman set on my benchtop bandsaw.

Would these fit the Ridgid MSUV as well? They look similar but I dont know the exact measurements.

Would be really nice to get a set for my planer and/or my oscillating sander.

Good question.

Do they?

Ill check the diameter of the tubes tonight....also necessary is the distance from front of front tube to rear of rear tube.

You can get the Ridgid rails separately, but they are 30.00 each so 60.00 for the pair.

The Sears setup, if it fits, is much more economical....maybe not as heavy duty, but for something fairly light like the Ridgid oscillating sander I think it would work OK.
