Put it in a lathe with a soft jaw easy rest. center drill it. Then put in a spring and a poly rod. re-assemble the head with a new cross pin.
Have a look at a KTC flex. Something like that will work and is easy to do.
You won't see it on cheapo 'merkin imports like SK, Snap-On etc. Only quality tools


I guess ****** might work too. We 'merikans use it to keep other things from flopping at the wrong time.
