I looked at the Alloy Artifacts website which has a very comprehensive history of nearly all tool manufacturers and their trade marks and logos. They do not show a SR. The plot thickens!!!!!:dunno:

SSELANDER you sure did some good digging :thumbup:. That last link has some good clear pictures. Sturtevant Richmont is as good a guess as any, didn't think of that.

Someone else in that old thread suggests Sears Roebuck. Heck, that could be too since this looks so much like the old (Plomb) Craftsman swivels and actually it came with two of them also in the bunch. That would mean ratchets/extensions/socket cases out there somewhere and I'd like to think we would have some examples by now.

I hope this doesn't lead to another dead end. We need some good hard proof like an old advertisement or catalog pic., whatever the brand is.
