Larry was the first person I met on these boards when I was looking for some trades involving snap-on sockets. He sent me what I was looking for based solely on trust without me sending him anything. I am very sorry to hear about his passing.

He was a very helpfull guy. Very sad he will be missed, its great he has the support of this forum. What was his age? He was married for 52 years so must have been about 70?

I just learned of his passing today when I saw his business for sale in classified here:

I was deeply saddened. I never knew him but I admired his web page and respected him a whole lot just based on that. It's been bugging me all day. Losing a good tool hurts but this is worse.

Wow, sad to hear this. If this is the same Oldtoolman as on Ebay out of Camino, California then I was recently contemplating making a purchase from him. How strange, it's a small world I guess.
