Just a quick note to say 'thank you' for sharing this project.

It inspired me to take on a repaint of my dad's 1964 Cman chest that is identical to yours (but only needed a cosmetic refresh), plus a repaint of the MAC roller cabinet that he had it paired with.

He's been gone over 20 years, so it was an emotional project. Your project and lessons helped me tackle this with confidence. I learned a lot and gained some skills.

Hey Brian and Matthew, Thanks for the complements. Hope you enjoyed the thread. Here's my next tool chest project. I'm working on a band saw now, so the chest and cabinet will probably have to wait for a while.
