Looking for help locating a good quality screw type height adjustable jack stand.

I have seen the Camco aluminum versions for sale, and that is the function I need, just in a more durable version. Something that will safely hold a car.

Has anyone seen something like this?

Thanks

Thanks. I some extensive searching on this site and have found some close matches to what I need. This may work, just need to lob off the angled top and weld in a flat perch.

Thanks

I bought some adjustable / foldable welding stands I use for jackstands. Well, they serve double-duty, of course. Even the small 2' tall ones are rated for 2,500lb each, and you can lift with them as well. If you can get them cheap, they're great. You can always chop off the V shaped head and weld on a platform if you'd chose. Personally, the V head works well even as a jackstand!
