sealing garage door

long time lurker, 1 time posting. my question is my garage door has gaps that let in the cold during winter. i was wondering if there was a kit or something that would work to seal the gaps. the gaps are on both sides. about 1/2 inch or so. the door opens and closes just fine so alignment is not an issue. any ideas?

they make threshold and rubber seals for garage doors, check home depot or equivalent

sounds like you can take the existing trim/weatherstrip and move it flush against the door and renail.

i knew about the threshold seal for the bottom, but was unaware that they made weatherstripping for the sides?

Vinyl or wood with a rubber flap embedded in it. Some have fine bristles. Normally if a garage door company installs the door they will install all seals. Does your door have a bottom seal which I would assume it does from the factory

Anyone have ideas for sealing the inside of a garage door? I've got insulated doors, well sealed on the outside with appropriate weatherstripping on sides, top, and bottom. I suppose one could do the same on the inside to give a double layer of seal. Any thoughts?
