Sears Scratch and Dent discounts...
Ok... today i got up at went to sears in hopes that they might be giving away special 80th anniversary craftsman stuff... Well they weren't but, i did notice a 5 drawer rolling box that had small dents in the front bottom corners near the casters, all of which could be pounded out. it was marked down from 159.99 to 111.49. Now i went over to the displays to see how much it was going for new. It was $109.99. So it was cheaper to get the box new than to buy the dented one collecting dust in the back corner. So $109.99 from 159.99 is $50 off, i proceeded to ask the sales associate if i could take the discounted box off there hands for the same $50 off sale and apply it to the already discounted price. He said NO, and kind of chuckled. I was kind of pissed having been a craftsman club member and an avid craftsman buyer every month at this particular sears. Now i remember reading all of this board for getting an additional discount on other merchandise. Am i wrong in this situation? Should I not have thought that i could get anymore money off of this faulty merchandise? What do you guys think?

Although, you didn't specify what tool(s) I needed to send out...this could be a way for me to get rid of all of my old, bent-up, non-US-made tools.
