That's why I left at 6:30 this morning for an in store use....only way they get it now is from my cold dead hands....oh wait, that's something else!:thumbup:

I think the only reason I was able to get in on this was I used the gift cards as soon as I got the emails and picked the items up first thing this morning. After I returned them, they gave me an actual gift card and there's no way for them to revoke that.

Here's the funny part; when I told my wife about the gift cards she said "great, we can use that $200 for pictures of the kids at the Sears studio." lol

Sears made a mistake a few years ago on a 17 inch Drill Press. I ordered it, paid for it and went and picked it up with no problems. Retail was $600 and I got it for $179. I still own the darn thing and haven't even opened the box yet. But my point is Sears.com makes quite a few mistakes and sometimes honors the price (at least in my case).

Good Luck I'm sad I missed out on this deal.

I remember that, and the slickdeals discussion.

People were buying like crazy without even knowing what they can do witha drill press!

I remember the $5 off $5 from 2 years ago.

That's why I placed one order yesterday - to make sure that the gift card couldn't be considered as "unused" or similar.

I placed two more orders today. Didn't get shipping confirmations yet, but then again I usually get my orders delivered before that email comes in.

That was my plan, I stayed up for 5 hours after ordering waiting to get the gift card number and pin, but they never came. I had the items sitting in my shopping cart at the checkout screen and even slept with my e-mail notification sound on my phone turned on so I could run to the computer and place my order in seconds.

Per the Drill Press.. I tried to sell it on craigslist and the classified section here for a small profit. But since I bought it, I've taken a course in woodworking and actually plan on putting it together as soon as I get the room to purchase a new table saw, planer, etc.

LMAO...I got in on the same drill press! One of my best scores ever. I finally set it up a couple months ago and it works great.

I just picked up the second half of my order. It wasnt supposed to be in for a few more days, today i got the email it was ready to pick up and I ran and got it. I guess yesterday they never put in the system i picked up the one item because the guy tried to give me both. I told him I already got the one yesterday and they only owed me the other one (alot of people probably would have just taken it)

Heres the strange part: This entire shopping experience has been the best I have had with sears in years. No mistakes, no bs from the people that work there, no missing lost or damaged items. The one time they should have even made the sale they do a great job.
