Sorry, no pics had to hurry to finish because other things were waiting in line for my attention.
I bought 2 stainless steel work bench surfaces on 12/13. One 6 foot X 2 foot and an 8 foot X 2 foot. Part numbers 00914962000 and 00914966000.
Saved a lot off list price. $196.30 saved on a $290.79 final bill with free to store shipping, not bad. Arrived today at the local Sears Store on the exact day promised, Packaging was good to very good with Styrofoam blocks, cardboard and a heavy plastic coating.
Each top was quite heavy with the base of a really dense board, I think it's the MDF material? Not real familiar with it but was stiff, strong and heavy.
The top was covered on 5 sides with fully welded seams that were ground smooth. Nice workmanship.
Overall I was reasonably impressed especially for the price. I didn't get a thickness since the metal was pretty intimate with the base. I did have to file the front edge at the bottom since there was a burr left from shearing.
