There are a few gems hidden in there.
The miter saw stand, 2 piece Cobra pliers, 2 piece Channellock pliers, Irwin vice grips, 30 ft cord reel, cordless impact.. Then go pick up in store and save on shipping.

And here's a link to another sales section I just found. First great deal I found was the 2 piece socket rails for $3.99! They're normally $8.99 and commonly go on sale in store for $5.99 so $3.99 is a steal. They have them in all sizes for that price. http://www.sears.com/deals/whats-cool-tools.html?adcell=ToolsVPT1

Doctor, I continue to be impressed with just about everything you post on GJ!! The Knipex made Cobra Craftsman pliers set is a great price here. Only thing I wouldn't recommend are the Irwin China vicegrip set. For that price, you can get old used but good Petersen US made vice grips off ebay that are much better.

I also found a couple things maybe of interest. They have a number of the newer Extreme Grip screwdriver sets with the diamond coating on the tips on sale. I've not tried these yet but some people on GJ said they were really good actually. Also found the two piece Irwin Groovelock pliers set on sale. While the Cobras or Cobra clones above are better, I like the Irwins too. Difference is mainly jaw tooth hardness. - Paul

For two weeks now I've seen great deals on Saturday only to be changed on Sunday. Last week it was the craftsman 100' rubber hose for $39.99 (normally $60) and yesterday was these premier Gladiator 30" cabinet for $99 (normally $180)

Lesson learned, although I do feel the Gladiator was an error.

I haven't seen the two pack of the Cobra pliers on sale for a long time. This is a great opportunity for anyone who doesn't already have them.

Also, that's a nice price on the Craftsman Professional Cord Reel. That too hasn't been on sale lately.

The 30 in. Gladiator's were priced at $99.99 from Tuesday the 22nd until Saturday the 27th.

This thread was started November 2014 and should give you an idea of the frequency of the $99.99 pricing based on past sale periods.

:see:

$99.99 in this week's ad, 8/21-8/27, and there are two applicable promos thru 8/27.

In-store (full-line Sears) or online:

SYW Members! Get $10 back in points when you spend $50 or more! Items sold by Sears. Includes regular, sale and clearance items, sold by Sears. Purchase requirement before taxes and after other discounts and must be made in a single transaction. Points valid for 7 days from the date in the receipt.

In-store (full-line Sears) only:

Sears $5 Award Card when you spend $50 or more on tools. Award Card valid starting 8/28. (award cards are similar to gift cards)

Gladiator 30" GearBox Garage Cabinet (Premier Series) $99.99 at Sears

The majority of these "sale" prices are really just their average prices. For example, those 2 pc socket rails have been $3.99 online for about a year.

The Craftsman 100' rubber garden hose usually appears as a daily deal for $34.99-$39.99, so of course the sale price disappears the next day.

Anyone know anything about these?

http://www.sears.com/craftsman-evolv-6-pc-mini-pliers-set/p-00910060000P

I need a spare set for my basement shop. I have not been up on the whole craftsmen debacle. Looking at the warranty it says you need proof of purchase. I figure if I have it in my possession I bought it.

I have the Husky set just like that I bought a few years ago. Probably the exact same, but can't really say for sure. I do know the Husky set far exceeded my expectations so far. With the possibility of Sears/Craftsman changing hands soon, it may be a wiser choice to buy the Husky for warrantying purposes. Then again, they're so cheap, it may not matter if they break. Just realize you can't expect Snap On quality out of something this small. These guys right here https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AG3T2QY/?tag=atomicindus08-20
