Secret Santa for 2012?

Every year the board has a "Secret Santa" where eligible, participating members buy a gift and mail it to another member. They, in turn, receive something from whoever happens to have drawn their name. One guy (I forget who) does all of the legwork, as to keeping up with the participants and sending out via PM who is buying for who. The gift can be used, new or whatever you want. As a participant, you agree to wait until X-mas, open your gift and post a photo of it that afternoon (or thereabouts).

I believe this is open to "senior" members only, which you achieve once you've posted at least 100 times. Since this is set up and carried out well before Dec. 25th, you usually have to be a "senior" member as of a certain date around Thanksgiving. So you can't post your 100th time on Dec. 15th, for example, and still get in on it.

The unofficial price limit was set at $30, use your own discretion. I hope it happens again, I enjoyed 2011's SS. Just wanna throw this out to anyone who participates this year...DON'T FLAKE. 2010's SS became a witch hunt, and upset a good amount of members. So if you want to participate, get your post count up.

Before everyone gets excited i think we need someone to step up and take on all the legwork. Blacknwhitepit did a fantastic job last year but i havnt seen his posts this year. I imagine he got a little tired by the end. I think its a bigger job than people realise.

Also -post your gifts early. I know you all have great faith in USPS but 2 days before christmas is too late to post.
AND a little of the excitement is lost if you havnt posted/received your gift by february.
