Looked like a big C-clamp to me with a 1/2" drive attached to it. I guess it's for ball joints but that's not my specialty. I prefer to paint **** and not get greasy.

Everyone's favorite, the tool bear does a walk through of the Tekton booth. Doesn't give much commentary but shows what they carry.

What is the OEM tool part number and what do they say it should be used for as it looks fairly light, I hope Chris from Astro will show what tool they have now and will be posting it soon. Thanks for the photo.

Edit: not the best reviews. Hope Astro's is stronger and hope they offer the anvils separately for use in my BJP1 or my Astro BJP.
Looks like most people are using for u-joints but I can think of a ton of uses around the shop for smaller stuff that a socket would push.
It used to be all the tool vendors were in north hall. But a few years back some brainiac decided diversity was a good thing and started spreading everyone to promote more traffic. My last sema journey was a couple years ago and I found tekton and a few other players in the tents east of south hall.

Pretty sweet, wonder why they opted to go a different route with the impacts? Not necked down fully like the rest of their chrome stuff.
On the SAE set the last three from 7/16 and smaller were necked down from what I could see

Impacts tend to need more meat since the material is softer. Only reason I can think of
That tool grid booth at AAPEX was real interesting but, they need a wider distributor network than Cornwell & Matco. I'd also like to see a starter pack similar to what VIM offers with their magrails direct from the manufacturer..

I wonder if gearwrench plans on getting into cordless power tools.
