Good afternoon Garage Journal Forum Members,
I was trying to get ideas together for a future shed build in the backyard at my folks place. Current city code allows me to build 120 sq.ft max with 12' ceiling without permit. Presuming you put no electrical. All i would need approval is for location and architectural.
Attached are some photos of my current existing never touched shed that came with the property please don't laugh. I was trying to get ideas as to should i come out the 27" to the one side ? See white mark on concrete. Build the same size with just a higher roof? Don't know if I should build another smaller shed on the pad next to the current shed? The current shed dimensions are 117.25 " x 117" with a 6' height . I'm a 6' guy. See photos for side easement, and back easement to the other neighbors. Don't know if the higher powers would allow me to build another shed on the property. Dont want to take away too much of the aesthetics of the backyard.
Any thoughts and ideas would be greatly appreciated. Following some of the builds for real shops on this forum and I am greatly amazed as to what people are doing. I just don't have that much space. I would like to ultimately get my tools in one safe weather tight location.
Thanks members for your time I look forward to hearing from you.

Ultimately trying to get it secured it and waterproof, weatherproof. Currently I have tools in my garage which i share with the folks, i.e. extra stove, second refrigerator, and enclosed laundry room dad and I built for mom. Only 1 car in space. Plus I have more tools at my siblings garage. I dont have much room to go to the back and right side.
