Hi GJ,
I'm building a small 8x10 post frame shed. I have the 6 posts in already (4' concrete footings) and I'm now trying to figure out how to "narrow" the opening at the end of the shed so I can frame a 72" door opening. If I don't have to dig 2 more footings - that would be preferable, but I'm trying to figure out how to get a ROCK SOLID framing member in place at the rough opening of the door - which is approx 15" more narrow than the opening of my posts (see the gap marked with the red arrows). Note that there is NO FLOOR in the shed. Nothing to mount to on the ground. Any thoughts? Drawing attached should be helpful...
