6-3/4” overall diameter with a 3/16” wall. Loft will be above my weld/fab area and 18x27’6” when finished. Pretty stoked !!

Half the bulbs were burnt out in the shop, so decided - it's time. Replaced 10 x T8 fixture bulbs (20 bulbs) with by-pass ballast double end LEDs. Replaced 5 x T12 fixtures (10 bulbs) with new LED fixtures. No photos necessary - just imagine dark....then bright.

Now that I can see - more upgrades to come.

LEDs are great aren't they? One huge advantage is the much reduced power consumption. Not so much cutting your bill, but in a retrofit, you can add a bunch more lights to the original wiring/breaker circuit because the consumption is so low.

Picked up some new cabinets and moved one of the Kennedy bottom boxes from the house garage to the shop recently. Then this guy arrived for Christmas. Everything in the shop is about to be labeled!

That is incredibly handy. I have had one for years and use it often. If you haven’t, look at the material and finishes on the various types of base label material they have. All kinds of options and types.

Yep, I've started down that rabbit hole. I bought a few different sizes and materials. It's cool how many different options are out there. Wish they were a bit less expensive though.

I had the tool box from my old set up and it had just been sitting not getting used so I decided to put it in there and use it to hold everything the was in the coffee cans. The drawers one the right I had and from my grandpa they have some stuff in them. And this doubles as a extra bench cause you always need more bench.
