I did a trans swap a few months back and found I could have used some work supports, like this under car supports while working on a hoist, amazon.com/Sunex-6811-Short-Underhoist-Stand/dp/B0BTB1Q4NG/ref=asc_df_B0BTB1Q4NG?mcid=c73f17263eff3e879629808aa2645687&hvocijid=10569347060663818922-B0BTB1Q4NG-&hvexpln=73&tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=721245378154&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=10569347060663818922&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9024532&hvtargid=pla-2281435179778&psc=1.
But shorter for using while vehicle is on jack stands. I did pick up a set of these camper supports from a local farm store but they were too short, https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/p...LdfBJk7Y-Mmm909HMrHdPpBpmXUSwvJQaAnsVEALw_wcB. But looking for something similar that goes from around 12-24" or so. There have been other times where it would have been nice to support a part on a vehicle and sometimes a jack stand just isn't the right height with it's holes. So looking for a screw type that is adjustable to whatever height you need within it's range. A bottle jack works Ok with it's pump lift and then screw to fine adjust. But would rather have a set of screw jacks that can't leak down and would be a little more stable then a bottle jack. Does such a thing exist? I would think so since they exist for working under a hoist, but I can't find anything googling. Maybe I'm just not using the correct words.
