The trash to treasures.
We see your trash.

It was filthy. After that, my Mom moved from Florida to Boulder and we put her in it. She remodeled the place and treats it like her own.

Been over a week, what's happening?
I know right! He talks about me being a slacker. LOL

You do a lot of work in yours for sure, but when you put it back together, it always looks the same.![]()

Luckily the plastic one came apart and I was able to remove the pneumatic casters of the metal one and get them loaded. Just one of the these casters is worth $15 and both carts are configured to use them.

Just kidding Shorty, you've got lots more achieved than I have. The last quickie project was to mock up the new welding cart. Since the smaller AV cart is plastic, I'm going to use the metal cart. The downside is, this thing is huge and I want it to fit under my bench. I did the mock up so I can verify I will use this cart and to see where I will have to section it. I decided on this layout. With a piece of plywood under the welder, the side door clears the lip on the cart. I plan on cutting a hole in the middle shelf so the tank stands vertically. I need to section 4" inches out of the vertical supports and about 12-15" out of the shelves. I will trade out the pneumatic tires with the casters that came off the tool cabinet. I think I can trim the top of the tool box (part of the existing weld cart) so it will fit on the lower shelf.
I will mark where the cuts will be and then put the AV cart in the loft as a later project.
Seems like a theme is developing here.![]()

What?
The lift isn't working yet?
What have you been doing?
Just kidding Shorty, you've got lots more achieved than I have.
The new welding trolley should be good with the pneumatic casters.![]()

Guys, please be careful of the tank placement. I realize these are mock ups, but you'll want to protect the valves on these tanks.
I agree, I put my welder on my little gray cart while cutting up old and working on the new one. I can't weld up new welding cart without a current welding cart. Right?

Just throwing a little sh*t your way.What?

Honestly, my thought is just to get a big hose clamp and clamp it to one of the upright.
Also those tanks do not need to be upright to operate you can try mounting it on a angle
Shorty, if you cut the mock up welding cart, how are you going to weld it back together if you have a cut up welding cart?
Sounds like you need to buy a second welder to weld the welding cart.![]()

Shorty, am I reading this right. Your lift still is not functional. F&%k every other project and get that puppy working for you. Stop the pansy *** projects and concentrate on the big prize...............Just throwing a little sh*t your way.
