A little QST Sunday. Cleaned up the welding table and decided it was a good time to finish welding the clamps to their bolt/pin.

Also struck gold working on the lift table. At least 10 lbs.

I figured, like a race car, lighter improves performance and a bonus improved MPG. 😁
I also got the foot stop operational.

Rode out to Tractor Supply for some hardware and the new American Retail is about to open.

A friend really liked my dirt grading sled so last weekend we fabbed up another. Safety lesson time: oh, when using side grinder, keep the guard on for safe operation. The guard also is great for smashing a finger during a kick back.

Went by an estate sale today that had a lot of interesting things. I need buy this, not even used.

The old timer must have attended one of the North Florida Safety Sessions.
Also picked up this commercial towel/soap dispenser since my Texaco mirror has lost the silver backing.

Came with a big case of towels too.

Thank you all and may your new year start better than mine.

Had big plans for this past 10 days but nothing worked out. Bad weather now coming now with the flu means no fun.

I’ll be picking up some of those covers Craig 😜

Well I think I might have had the Cv word. Still feel like low energy. While filling out an online form, I had to ponder these two questions. The robot one I got right off the bat. The other took about an hour. Wanted to make sure I got it right.

Finally got some QST. The chain is from the lift table. Decided to try white vinegar for removing rust. Should have come out Christmas but I forgot about it.84F76711-87A0-4860-BAE2-F8874FE3AD20.jpegThis one is still stiff in areas so I’ll get a replacement.

The wife decided to see what the limits were on her driver’s side door hinges.

These corners should touch the new on the left.
The several body shops I called said it would be February before they could touch it. A project I was willing to let others do.
First step is a door jack. Was going to fab one out of the SL roof caddy but switched to 80/20 since it would be easier to build and adjust. Then attached it to my motorcycle jack.

When I went to get the upright, I saw my lobby ad banner stand turned paint tree and light bulb went off.

Got the door off without issue and the new hinges on the A pillar.

Unfortunately the hinges have to go on the door first. I realized the fender had to come off to do alignment but hey, give it a try.
Last night, the front bumper cover is off and the fender is almost off. There’s a secret fastener somewhere and there’s no YT video on this fender. 🤔

Just trying to catch up on everything on the GJ... It will be slow going, I'm sure. Happy New Year to you Shorty. LOVE that new toy (the Kubota)!! That should generate ALL sorts of new projects for you. I know I don't have to tell you to be careful with it... because you won't!!
