Should I buy it?

There is a 4" wilton vise for sale and it seems kind of crusty. It would be a hour drive just to get there. They are asking 60$ but gonna try to talk down a bit. What do you think? Is it worth the risk?

As long as it functions properly then there is nothing a little paint can't fix..

If I saw that on my local CL for that price I would buy it in a heartbeat.

I have the same one with a swivel base and I talked the guy down to $150 from $185. Do u that's about a $500 vise if u got it new.

USA made vise new are expenisve. I have looked both at Yost and Wilton and you can easily sink $500 into a USA vise. Not to highjack, anybody eles still make vises here?
