There is a 4" wilton vise for sale and it seems kind of crusty. It would be a hour drive just to get there. They are asking 60$ but gonna try to talk down a bit. What do you think? Is it worth the risk?

As long as it functions properly then there is nothing a little paint can't fix.. ;)

If I saw that on my local CL for that price I would buy it in a heartbeat.

USA made vise new are expenisve. I have looked both at Yost and Wilton and you can easily sink $500 into a USA vise. Not to highjack, anybody eles still make vises here?

Did you really think anyone here would tell you not to buy it? Hell, most guys here would crawl on there hands and knees for an hour to buy that vise for $60
