Should I unbundle my electrical cords

I come for the LV world where neat and tiday.....is always a plus

I have a splice box with 10 pairs of 12AWG are bundled together, zip tied and then routed back out to a 1" pipe.

Inside the splice box, I have the entire bundle zip tied all nice and neat.....
In foresight, should I unbutton them and let all the wires be *loose* so that they can breath/dissipate heat ?

Im guessing you have nothing that will pick up any type of interference in there?

I sure hope u derated those wires! Thats 20 CC conductors!

Not much load. I'd say 8-10amps max on 2 on the conductors, which would cover the fridge circuits, kitchen circuits, and the living room. Everything else probably sees next to nothing The kitchen circuit A or B MIGHT see a spike when the toaster oven or espresso maker is in use

The splice box is basically the middleman between my transfer switch panel and my main. Stock wire was a few feet too short, so I put a large splice box directly underneath the transfer panel. From there, it's roughly a 7 ft run direct back to the panel.

wylie can fill you in on the letter of the law but no load no heat. You have essentially derated then by calculated load.
