Any idea how to find a handle like this to put on my ratchets? It's a cornwell breaker bar but the handle is a second piece I'm guessing is pressed on.

Used the beast for the first time today. Bolting down the cover on an EV battery pack and this let me tighten it in a star pattern standing in place instead of having to keep walking around the front of the car to reach. I felt like how Giannis Antetokounmpo must feel playing basketball. I’m keeping it 17”

Fist one was a simple handle swap, pulled the green handle off the FHLFD80A and replaced with a bigger screwdriver handle, easy.

Next was drilling out the green handle and pressing it onto the FCF72 making a killer small 3/8 flex head.

Debating cutting off and turning the FLF80A down and making a custom length hard handle maybe like a stubby like a FHKFD80. For no other reason than I already have this one

Nice handles, now that I've gotten into 3D printing I've realized it's perfect for this type of modifications. I really like the old Stahlwille handles, so I decided to re-create them. Not a fateful recreation since I don't own one, but from picture I've managed somewhat. It came out perfect for my hand size. Can be scaled up or down too. Will be putting up the STL flon makersword for anyone to download.
I used PLA for prototypes, eventually they will be made from ABS/nilon/ASA for strength and durability. Gotta test them first to see what suits it best.

Tekton screwdriver handles on a pair of titan ratchets and a proto/facom flex. Think I’m gonna do some more, I really like how these came out

Does Tekton still make the black handles? I can't find them on their site.

My two modded Pittsburgh 1/4 inchers. I liked the functionality of the swivel head but wasn't fond of the egg shaped handle. The swivel head was just a simple chop with some heatshrink tubing.

Not a ratchet ratchet, but a custom ratchet screwdriver so in my eyes it applies to this thread 😆.

I been playing with creality's CR-PLA Wood filament. Basically PLA infused with wood fibers to make a material similar to wood or plywood. Very cool as you can sand it and stain it. I'm surprised with the popularity of wood handles on screwdrivers, no one makes one for a ratchet screwdriver. Even ratchets(excluding vessel/Tone). Maybe 🤔 a niche business opportunity there.

Swapped handles on my Tekton swivel heads. Tekton had these hex drivers in their clearance section. I was hoping for red hard handles, but these came out nicely. I know others use the 6 in 1 handles, but I thought that was too big for the 1/4”.

The 3/8 was $5.85, the 5/16 $4.55 and the 1/8 was $3 as it had a blemished blade.

Since I was buying some other things too shipping was free, and as always when buying from Tekton, you get a credit towards your next purchase. - believe 10%.

The 3/8 was actually a perfect fit for the 3/8” drive. It just needed to be drilled deeper. The 1/2” needed a 19/32 drill bit. I forgot to note the one I used for the 1/4”, but I’m pretty sure it was 9/32..

These handles are not as hard as the Snap-On hard handles. I put them in boiling water for ten minutes and still had to drive them off. On the 1/4” I used my normal inverted hard handled screwdriver approach - left a noticeable dent on one wing. A 1x2 did the job without marring the rest.

Putting them on, drove them on 1/2 way and then repeated the boiling water dunk. Pulled them out and finished driving them on.

Disappointed that I messed up on the 1/2” and didn’t get the handle and shaft logos on the same side.

All in all, very pleased.
