Just picked this puppy up for $40 off Craigslist. Did some research and found out they were about $200 new from Pep Boys. Also found it's the same as the Lincoln W93642 but with different side plates (not folded over at the top for strength)
Still a sold jack that the guy only used a couple times. There's still blue paint on the wheels!

That was considered Lincolns economy line jack ( Lighter Frame etc), Still a nice jack and 10x's better than the import jacks, but different than a 93642. Definitely worth $40 bucks..![]()
Good to know. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't start pumping until the handle is at 45 degrees to the floor.
Well there has to be some give in take, If it was the other way around you couldnt get enough upstroke when under the vehicle. You dont see many of those jacks as they were produced when Lincoln was on the way out of the hydraulic business. Congrats again...

Here's some photos of my jack. I just bought ($20) a couple of weeks ago.
It's an AUSCO model D-1901 made in the 30's I think?
I even got the "Service Parts and Prices" list and diagram with it!
Looks like it needs a release screw, that is broken just before the release packing nut.
Very nice old and unique jack. Thanks for taking the time to post some pics.![]()
Exactly
That tillable front carriage is neat.
Here is our newest shop jack. It's a Weaver three ton and has the unusual, but very useful feature of being able to steer the front wheels by twisting the lift handle.

Erik
Been lookin for a 2-3 ton jack for some time. This one popped up on Atlanta CL last week and I jumped on it. The knuckle and small rear cylinder had been replaced pretty recently. Got the jack and four stands for $200. I was about to spend that on a non USA made jack alone.
Do you have any background history on how it was used?
After getting in the car he said "yaaayyy we're getting a jack....what's a jack?" I told him its the thing you stand on and go up in the air when I pump the handle. He agreed that we needed another one.
Yours doesn't appear to look like the same one in this ad:
They sell the red one here in New Zealand, I've always wondered about it as the front 'wheel' seems narrower than having two normal wheels... what is it like to use please, and how stable is it?Two aluminum China jacks among the clutter I'm slowly getting out of the garage... The blue HF one is distinctly not as good as the much more costly red one. I need a lower profile jack... I use the handles from these for cheating sometimes. I know I shouldn't, but it's convenient.
This is very cool, I've not seen anything like it!this is the jack I use to lift the back of my Trike,
. I just picked up the first one on Craigslist for $25 but don't really know anything about it. The nameplate on the side says it's a 2 ton JET, model JSJ-2. Anyone (possibly Hiball) have any info on it? The other unit is a 1.5 ton Watco It's been in the family for years and has always always been good to me but like the JET, i'm not to familiar with Watco's background. Thanks in advance for any info.
