Ha! The walls (and ceiling) are not in the best of condition - I planned to repaint the entire shop but I think it would be better to just remove all of the old (and somewhat moldy) drywall and start fresh. Since I knew the drywall will eventually come down, I occasionally use the drywall as a 'notepad' of sorts... and sometimes go overboardSo who got drunk and grabbed the can of black paint to label the walls?
Despite thinking I had it figured out, I did a few things really wrong... And a few things pretty well... I wouldn't buy an asymmetrical again, that much is for sure. I also am sorry I didn't get a really good 4 post with center sled. Because of the radiant tubing in the floor, I was stuck with the post locations, should have been 18" to the left.
Where are all the lifts at?! Too much of this lately:

I think you should buy one to add to the galleryYou've got plenty of room!

.............
Last place I lived had a tandem garage layout, and an Eagle floorplate 2-post had only about 11" per side to spare. The ceiling height was 9'3" so the columns protruded about 1" to 1-1/2" into the space through the sheetrock/joist cavity.awesome way to squeeze a lift in their.... I also have a tandem garage like yours...what height ceiling do you have? which model benpak do you have?
You have no idea how excited I am to see these pictures. The timing couldn't be better. I'm ordering my Atlas garage pro 8000 Ext today! I'll also be getting two bridge jacks. And I'm really debating/considering the aluminum ramps upgrade. How heavy and awkward are those ramps? Are you happy with the lift? Any problems?Atlas Garage Pro 8000 EXT and AC Lifts M1-6.5.
Can't wait to see it!Mine goes in Monday.....

That's a nice looking lift. I'm interested to hear how well you like it after having it for some time now. I'm currently considering the DMS Equipment FP8000XLT lift and would like some first hand feedback from an end user. I did a search here and your post was the only one I could find referencing a DMS Equipment lift.
you guys with race deck flooring and 4 post lifts, are you setting the lift bases right on top of the race deck, or cutting out the race deck to set the lift directly on the concrete floor? The pics I've seen looks like most are setting them right on top, but hard to see exactly.
Looking to pick up a 4 post soon for my garage and I've got race deck tiles.
Incorrect. 90% of people put the hoists on the floor. Just make sure you set the hoist on the floor in the middle of a hot day.Trim around the feet and have them directly on the concrete or shims if needed. The floor tiles are not strong enough for the pressure from the legs.
