My favorite metal saw

Makita LC 1230 ... gets a blade reload

Spring loaded blade defection stabilizer

OT : Didn't mean to hijack the thread but will this non ferrous blade below work well with the LC1230. I believe this blade was designed for a higher rpm miter saw.

Difficult to compare because they all have a different power output so you can´t compare them. I need to buy angle grinders with the same power let´s say 14 AMP and then compare.....but no money for that
The Bosch grinder seems to be the strongest so far (1400 Watt (about 13 AMP) the Atlas Copco has more input power + slightly more output power but from a subjective view the Bosch tool doesn´t seem to bog down under load as much as the Atlas grinder. So maybe the electronics regulate better, different wound motor, maybe heavier rotor = more torque etc. Difficult to say..... But overall the Bosch is nice, slimmest motor housing and the new ones have a toolless adjustable guard like the Metabo (with a small lever) But i think you already made a good choice !! Metabo just upgraded all their grinders by 50 watt so the most powerful one now has 1450 Watt for example instead of 1400. They´re also comfortable to hold and have low vibrations and their side handle is not that clunky compared to Bosch + Makita etc.
