Here are mine. I am a Miller fan, I bleed blue. At my shop I have a MM251 Mig welder and a Dynasty 300DX Tig welder as well as an ESAB plasma cutter. I also have a portable Miller Passport that I use for when I have to go mobile. Mike.

Here's my Miller 175. I used a Cman bottom box as my cart. It works really well to keep all the little things that go with a welder. I also put my misc tig stuff in it as well. I used a small tackle box style organizer to keep all my collets, bodies, tips, and tungsten sorted.

This is my Dialarc 250 w/bernard cooler I just recently picked up. I haven't had time to build a cart or anything for it.

I have a Lincoln SP-100 mig that I bought new in the early 90's. I'd like to upgrade, but I just can't justify the expense right now. It's been a great welder, but i'd like to be able to weld heavier gauge metal without having to break out my stick welder.

Thanks. If I was to do it over again I'd weld the mount for the bottle on the end of the box instead of the back. I did that cause I also had my plasma cutter on top of the box. It makes it hard to go through a regular door with it. It only has about 1/4 in of clearance on each side.

The two in my shop, an old century wire feed that I got when I was 13... It's a pretty darn good 120v machine, and I've tried a few others. Next to that is my Miller Dynasty DX. It's set for 58 A and high frequency lift arc start. I was welding in a car on some floor pans being able to lift and start or scratch start with this setting makes life easy.

You guys have some great welders. Attached is a picture of my Miller 225 DC stick welder. I've had it on "temporary" loan for over 20 years! (I was the only guy the owner knew that had a 220 volt outlet.)
It's a very reliable welder, but a bit heavy for most of my auto hobby work.

While I have the camera out, my old Monkey Wards (Century) AC/DC buzz box, I have a fluxcore/mig at the shop, couldn't find a pic. It's not hooked up here because I don't have 220 in the garage here (in the process of moving).

Hi guys and gals... New user, but I've lurked around for a while. Like the site so I decided to register and contribute a little. Sorry if my English isn't up to par, remember it's my third language... :)
Introductions done, I'll show off my welder. Someone asked for opinions about ESAB, and the only thing I can say is AWESOME. I bought this Power Compact 200 used and it seems to have had a hard life, but it welds very well. Pretty much the best welder I've used, and I've used a few... For a more complete review of it you're welcome to take a peek at the Tools 'n Toys section of my IH pages.

I'll link in some pictures, otherwise it wouldn't be a show off, would it?

Bumpage for my first welder :bounce:

Have a friend what works at Lincoln so got a really sweet deal and went with PM 216 and picked up the spoolgun to run aluminum too. Compared to my neighbors WeldPak 155 its got a ton more reserve power and he commented on how much smoother it is laying down solid welds. I am gonna have lots of fun building stuff (hopefully) with this tool. :lol_hitti

Just to maintain Miller's ********** of the thread :) I'll go ahead and add mine that I bought new about 2 years ago. It is a Thunderbolt XL ac/dc and it is great for my purposes. The first thing a WELDOR does with his welder is build a cart and welding table, so I included those pics as well.

Thanks for looking,
Steve

OK here are mine. Both CL acqusitions. My O/A setup was used maybe 10 times. It's in like new condition. Came with 2 full owner-owned tanks w/receipts, cutting torch, spare tips and everything you see here for $250.

My most recent buy is a Hobart 210 with less than 20 hours on it. Full owner-owned tank. Came with everything seen including a spare gun. Basically brand new - $700.

Here is a couple more.
First one is Hobart 400 amp DC motor/generator unit with 25 H.P. motor.
This thing makes one wicked hot arc, could not believe the difference
after using a Century buzz-box for years.

Got this nice Aerowave off Fleabay in 2008.
Other than the Dynasty 700, this is the "Cadillac" of welders.
From just a few amps all the way to 375 it is the shitz :D
That's a Benard water cooling unit underneath,
used with a CK 20 series torch. (very nice and small).

The Aerowave is a hybrid welder, has a transformer like the Syncrowaves
but has all of the functions of the newer Dynastys and some functions
that the 200 Dynasty doesn't have.

Bottom panel is the advanced functions & weld sequencer.
Most of which you can use for stick welding as well.

This unit was made in February 1997.
I have heard that the Aerowave was made for Boeing for welding on airplanes.
The only problem with this unit is their is no more excuses for not getting a good weld.
Check out the cool looking back, its made to be placed in a corner
of a building if you want.

Looks like an advertisement for MILLER, all blue here. :bounce:

Heatsinks with dual fans.

Here is a shot of whats behind the front panel.
Sure is a-lot of electronics in this thing, just hope it doesn't **** out on me
any time soon. :shocking:

This is the main contactor for the DC coming out of the rectifiers.
Looks a little on the "wimpy" side to me,
even with all 3 contacts tied together.

Big ole three-phase transformer shown here.

Need to get a cart built for this welder sometime.

Runs on 240,480 or 575 volts single or three phase.
Currently wired for 240 volt three phase.

Hope you enjoyed my disection of the Aerowave, maybe I can post up some
of the stuff I made with this awesome machine.

I can get a pic later, but I have a Ready Welder. I had recently posted a little about it on the fab forum, but it's a cool little unit. Made is USA, runs off 12v batteries, able to weld aluminum, penetrates 3/4"... They have incredible customer service, as well.

Looks like its brand new, did you clean it up?
Got one just like it, only red and AC only, Me and my brother got it for
Christmas one year when I was about 13.
Still use it once and while when I need a "portable" welder.
The amperage control is worn out, and always works its way to
the lower amp settings. :( The "fix" was to cut a piece of wood to jam between the floor and the amp selector for 130 amps.
The fan on the transformer hasn't worked in years, but that did not
stop me from welding 20' of auger flighting with this thing.
Takes a licking and keeps on ticking. :)

I'll have to take some pictures tomorrow when I'm in the shop. We have a:

Miller Shopmaster 300 CC/CV AC/DC with a 22A wirefeed, HF251D HF tig box, Coolmate 3, and 100' of stick leads

Lincoln Idealarc 250 CC/CV DC with a LN-7 wirefeed and short stick leads

Miller Spectrum 625 X-treme plasma cutter

And two torches, a Purox W-200 and W-201 both older torches but rebuilt a few years ago when we really began working in the shop.

Hoping to get a Trailblazer for Christmas... :)

This is my first welder (Hobart Handler 187) that I bought last year. I've only done a tiny bit of stick/mig welding in high school (I'm only 22), and some mig at my buddy's shop, so I didn't want to get too crazy for my first unit. Has been great for everything I have used it for so far. I did notice that tractor supply increased the price since I purchased it.

Now, i'm normally a miller man, I love miller tig welders, especially. I learned to weld on a syncrowave 351, and then discovered the miller aerowave, which is heaven in a blue case. For mig and stick, i really like lincoln inverters. So, when the price was right, i bought a lincon invertec v300 pro and a wire feeder unit. I'm in the process of building a fancy new cart for it, so don't judge the crappy table i stuck this under, it's gonna get better. We also have a miller maxtar, and a old lincoln buzz box knockin around. We sold our millermatic and our syncrowave 180 at our estate sale when we moved, but oh well.

Here is my ez125. For a little buzz box flux welder, you just cant beat these things.

Well here's a few of mine. I build the trailer for the Trailblazer and built the cart for the Dynasty 20 DX. Here's a few vids as well.

Gotta love all that Miller blue...
Seen the cart & trailer before, very nice.
