Merbie....as far as I know, and what I watched on "How it's Made" one evening, all Cornwell tools are made in the US
`

Our Cornwell guy is a really great guy to deal with, but I'm less than impressed with the quality of a lot of the imported tools, and the prices aren't that great.
Plus I'm also very worried about being left high and dry when our dealer gets out of the business or I move to a different shop in a few years. Same goes for the Matco guy, he's also great but I have the same concerns.
those are very real problems that I've experienced from using truck brands. I have a 60 inch wide Kennedy made Cornwell branded top, bottom, and end cab set up that I can't get parts for because Cornwell switched suppliers. It has served me well for 12 years but, if I have a problem, I'm sol. One of my all time favorite ratchets was a MAC round head. Mac quit making and supporting them more than a few years ago.![]()

Any body know if the Cornwell pliers (deluxe) are us made?

What's the part number? This is the USA made set. http://www.cornwelltools.com/webcat/products.php?product=ZZCCL4S-%2d-4-Piece-Plier-Set

This is the Knipex made set. The rest are Taiwan made by a company called professional tool products. They also make the black and blue square handle screwdrivers and a lot of the air tools. I do like the fact that Cornwell does price the imported tools at a lower price than the USA made stuff. The tools made by PTP are actually really good quality for the money. I owned a set of of the Taiwan made drivers and they were actually very good quality. I gave the 8pc set to a friends son who was starting out in the auto body biz.
Show us your Cornwell boxes too!
Picked up some 3/8" deep sockets.

Some are rebadged IR, the others that they have are very good too. I think professional tool makes them. I have the impacts, the are very good. Are the Cornwell air tools better than ingersoll rand?

If it's the blue power go for it, I love mine, smaller, quieter and more powerful than the titanium IR I had.Sweet debating the 1/2 impact it's cheaper than the ingersoll rand 2130 and has more power
