Rock and Roll stopped in Tuesday. Quoted a 68" gunmetal with titanium trim and bedline top. After rebates and my trade I was looking at $7k. Have until tomorrow morning to let him know!

What's your trade, and what's he allowing you for it.

Ultimately decided to pass on the 68" quote.

I have all my body tools in a roll cart right now, seperated from my big box. I was worried I would run out of room on the 68" over time. Decided to stack some pennies away for an 84" until this fall when he comes back around.

I'll never understand how pricing can be so different between dealers lol. I paid less than that for mine and traded and a craftsman stack. And got a free bk5600 among other things.

It's a snapon mystery to me lol

I often wonder the same thing. Possibly diff dealers can offer different amounts on trades.

Ya know I was sold on the 68" at $7k...( Mind you this was the clearcoat charcoal metallic paint w/ bedline top. Easily over a grand in extra charges right there)

Until I called an old dealer of mine just to feel out the deal I was offered. He said a normal finish 84" w/o powerdrawer is around $16500 retail w/ powertop. As compared to my 68" quote of $14400 retail.

Roughly $2k more for 16" more width?? This is what made me hold back on the quote I was given. Id rather wait til October-Nov time, put larger chunk of cash down and have a box I wouldnt have to worry about growing out of.

I was quoted 11 I think for an 84 powertop and hutch

My powertop on the 68 was free. I've been looking at the new lockers but I refuse to buy from the dealer we have. If I go back in my dealers territory it's basically buy one get one free lol. He priced a modis Monday for me with euro for $3200

Some freeeeeking nice boxes

Anyhow, got my organizers last week.

Shame they don't do a single bank 68".

All I can say is wow! That would be the ultimate organization method for my OCD and combined with your Epiq, constitutes the finest in tool ****.

Did you use toolbed.com? I got signed up with them and have played around a bit with their program. I was pretty impressed with how much they had in their system.

So, how much does a drawer of foam cost? I have this horrible feeling that to do an entire box would be almost as much as the box itself.

Nice guards [emoji106]

Do they come in black?
I think you can get the carbon fiber ones for sure for the masters series. I'm pretty sure you can get them for the Epiqs.

Still want the good news and bad news?

Am sure they will offer the kit in black. Supply and demand, seems to be more and more non stainless trim boxes being bought lately.

The KRL carbon fiber will fit, but not perfectly, the problem I had was I would need two kits to complete my box, that is the issue with a custom configuration.

I may order a 84" powerbank, with powerhouse tomorrow. My dealer got me down to about $5000 after trade of my 1022 and rebate. Still hesitant on it, it's far better than the rock and roll truck deal I was offered 2 months ago but still a lot for a tool box.

What's a used 1022 worth 3500-4500 bucks? 5 grand difference is a very good deal in my opinion.
