I don't have a "man cave". I have a shop/garage. My stools are just a couple of beat up old kitchen stools.

I bought a kobalt at lowes, was too tall so i cut 3" off the legs. Not the best quality but not bad for the price.

I have a whole lot of stools in my garage, from vintage all-steel round 4-leggers to wood barstools to tall director's stools but the shop seat I actually use day-to-day is a salvaged Ikea secretary's chair that donated its back and padding to the dumpster. I wanted to put a bucket seat on top of it but just haven't found the right one yet.

Found the right seat, a Snap-On new replacement creeper seat. I'll come back and post pics when it's done.

I have an old wood stool cut down to about 18 inches, and has a 2 inch hole dead center in the top. I use it to place shafts of transmissions and such in to work on them in an upright position. I could bet a $100 bill that a new person will see the stool and ask "What's the hole for"? I just grin wickedly and ask "What do you think"? You can see the thoughts racing through their minds.......

I have the craftsman stool with the back rest along with a Mac stool. The crafstman is much much nicer than the Mac.

:)
thanks guys :)
I have no place for a sofa in the garage :) so i build this, since things like this shouldn´t cost much money it looks a bit ghetto but cost nothing... :)
I thought about adding a battery to the seat since it´s a electrical seat. :)

Motorcycle battery would work great. I like it so much I'm think about using the two captains chairs I had to remove form the 3rd row of my Town and Country van for my chair lift and put them to good use.
