Those hooks are slck, nice projectI'm tired of tripping on / shuffling the 11 bikes in my little 3 car garage. Picked up some cool hooks that trolley in unistrut. Grabbed some 2" 11ga square tubing, some triangle gussets (I added the speedholes to get my wife spicy), and leveling feet and went to town with the glue gun. Rather frustrating day as there was a steady breeze, and I already dislike MIG welding. I'll drop it off for powdercoat on Monday, trim the leveling feet stems down, and cap the tube ends with plastic pieces to clean it up. Nothing fancy with this one, but I'm glad to have the bike mess sorted.

I have been really happy with 825 Powder Coating, Ryan. He quotes 2 week lead time and usually calls a few days later and tells me it's ready. Pricing has been really competitive, too.I'm tired of tripping on / shuffling the 11 bikes in my little 3 car garage. Picked up some cool hooks that trolley in unistrut. Man I'd love to have that in my basement....Got the door stood up and installed Thursday along with the last of the welding. Came back Friday and got my equipment out and a few pics. Stopped at my next build a few miles down the road to see what I’m up against.
Here is the completed vault. GC is supposed to be turning over a finished store at the end of April, it will be interesting if they make it.
Very nice!
Like to the thread for the shop stool?
Keep a fair sized cardboard box on hand. They work great when you run out of mattresses. I've been using one for a wind shield for decades.Rather frustrating day as there was a steady breeze, and I already dislike MIG welding.
Those hooks seem like they'd have a place out in my garden tool shed for organizing all the **** I have to move every time I need to get something out.I'm tired of tripping on / shuffling the 11 bikes in my little 3 car garage. Whoa! How much do you weigh? Those look like 2,000 lb-rated urethane casters!

I don't much like the stuff anyway--much prefer Rustoleum products.Better go buy some of that XO Rust since True Value is going +'+$ up.
I really like our local True Value store, they are a lot closer than Agent Orange and had store personnel that actually knew what they are doing. Decent selection and a lot easier to get in and out of. Stopped in today for a bucket of drywall mud, all the Master Mechanic brand stuff is deeply discounted for close out. Irony is that they switched from Do it Best to True Value a few years ago, now switching back.I don't much like the stuff anyway--much prefer Rustoleum products.
Besides, True Value (why is the ue in value not pronounced the same as in true?) hasn't really been a hardware store in years.
Ask Gallagher(why is the ue in value not pronounced the same as in true?)
Interesting. Our Wallowa County Grain Growers--once a co-op grange--was a Do It Best up to a few years ago, too. Now they're a Troo Valyou (correcting the pronunciation). I guess it's back to DIB, but I doubt I'll notice the difference. But Troo Valyou is much more fun to say.I really like our local True Value store, they are a lot closer than Agent Orange and had store personnel that actually knew what they are doing. I just recall him smashing **** with a giant maul--I'd forgotten he was an actual comedian.Ask Gallagher
Do yourself a favor and watch his old specials. Don’t get fooled by his brother.I just recall him smashing **** with a giant maul--I'd forgotten he was an actual comedian.
I'm sure George Carlin had something to say on the subject....
