Had a co-worker ask me if I could make him a pallet breaker. He's just starting to get into wood working and pallet wood is super cheap! Anyways here it is. Welded with 6011 and 6013 with my tombstone.

Yes.... and the tree Rats got in to the barn and shop a few years ago. And the war is still ongoing

Built my wife a cattle crush for her heifers and steers. We had 20 steers last year and needed to treat them for lice. This was very difficult without a crush so it was edfinitely on the list.
Used my brand new welder for the first time. 250amp single phase (15 to 25amp)
I bought a head bail and a sliding gate and custom built all the bits inbetween including gates. I hate welding galv

I know right haha when i bpught the car it had a very strong running 13b in there. I figure once i have to rebuild the motor ill just swap a t2 motor in there

built a GM 10bolt/Ford 8.8 hybrid axle using the 10 bolt out of my z28 and an 8.8 out of a ranger.
torque arm mount for the ford 8.8
fitting the 10 bolt tubs into the 8.8 center
alignment bar to true up the tubes
tubes and torque arm mount welded up
torque arm end of custom mount
the two together
finished product
it has been taking repeated abuse from 425rwhp and keeps ticking!

Is the 8.8 similar to the 9"? I take it the 10-bolt axles are better?
What is it under?

8.8 is closer to the 12 bolt chevy rear. very strong carrier without the weight of the 9". i used my axles and tubes to save cost. the rear is under a 1991 Z28 that has a cammed 6.0l lsx and t56 6 speed. Car runs high 11's in the mid teens at 3660lbs.
