Seeing the set on here for sale, I thought I would post pictures of 3 of my plomb 3/4 and 3 breaker bars that go with them and the proto ratchet adapter. I also took 2 pictures of the 1" inchers next to them. Also the one on the top was the new one I just got for 70 with shipping and really nice condition, I haven't cleaned it up yet and the drive plug is nice. I have 2 others in the box with the sockets, but did feel like getting them out... Also I like the heads on the top better they just look stronger to me and cleaner, but I don't think strenght was ever a problem for the proto/plomb design. The ratchet adapter is an older proto, not the same design as the 5447, this one is a really odd design on the inside and I got it for 13 on ebay a while back as well.

Also this was the posting on ebay for a total of 130 with shipping a while back... They were cheap because a lot of the stuff has intials on them and ruined the value of the tools...

After I cleaned them and put them in a proto box with a couple of ratchets and other stuff I don't use often.

48548 and tool pants, you guys are the devil, tempting us with all that pebbly goodness. Until I met you guys and skfarmer, I had no desire to possess any Plomb tools, even though I'm a Proto tool enthusiast and most of my professional tools are Proto made. Here in Hawaii, it's either Snap-on or Proto.

So now, I'm a complete pebble addict. Man, I gotz to have it!!! Damn you guys, I need an intervention. Oh, by the way, I'll be posting pics of my 1" Plomb pebble ratchet went it comes in the mail. Ohh, feeling so cold......... :lol_hitti

I recently picked this up from Kijiji. I'll include the listing in case anyone is interested, as the guy had 20 of them ($60). Also, he was willing to list on Ebay and ship (negotiable).

That's an awesome deal on a ratchet that's damn near bullet proof!I have one of those Gray's and have had two men pulling on a 7' pipe on it's handle. It's been unbreakable for me.Wish the chrome on mine still looked that good.

I have item 5494 from HF. I often use these sockets for press work as it turned out I didn't really need 3/4" tools for much with 12 point sockets.

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=5494

The only thing I really needed in 3/4" was a 32mm for some axle nuts and the 12 point wouldn't cut it. So I picked up a 32mm 3/4" 6 point impact socket and now I'm all set.
