Not a good pic, but mine are in the bottom left corner. Recent USA Crescent 4", 6", 8", 10", and 12". Tempted to scrounge up some bigger ones before the US-made ones are nowhere to be found.

Despite a lot of people here poo-poo'ing the recent Crescents, I kind of like 'em.

well, i think i'm close. i forgot 2 channelock large opening, and 4 at the job site, so, i guess they don't count. 33 in the first pic. outlaw used monkey wrenches.......... so,2nd pic are 4 old adjustables. !st wrench on left is made by Gellman Wrench Co., Rock Island, Il. #61, opens from 1/4 to 13/16 (i checked three times). 2nd wrench is a Cochrane Speed Wrench, Chicago, dated 1919.

Stuart, I had (have?) a 12" with the same blue plastic cover, Now I'm wondering where it got off to? :headscrat

Did the cover get so mangled I removed it? :dunno: Hmmmm....

Hmmm.

I'm about 99% sure the Epsteins are, in fact, Western Forge. But the Wildes probably are too...

I'm inclined to agree with this. Judging by the recess with letters in it on the Epstein model, and the similar marks on Wilde wrenches. WF is the only company that I've seen do that...

Could always ask Epstein...

Great, now we can round fasteners off even more quickly. ;)

Heh, i admit, i was/am still a bit skeptical about it, but it was so weird i had to buy it. Will report back with how it works when i get a chance to use it. :lol_hitti

The green cushion handle on that one wrench is kind of like Plasti-Dip, it does gets beat up with use and you can see it's peeled off a little on mine. Personally I don't think it helps that much, I've considered removing it myself but it's low on my list of stuff that needs to be done.

That particular wrench I bought new, the darker 10" I got from my dad and the rest I've found at swap meets. I also have a 12" that wasn't in the photos and I need a 4" to complete the set.

I remember liking the grip on that one compared to an un-coated wrench, as I could pull harder on it without hurting my fingers. The primary thing I do the the larger wrenches is bend metal, and it's usually done cold, so it can take some effort on thicker pieces.

I really wonder what I did with/to it. (Went looking for it in corners a bit yesterday... no sign...

Here is mine:

f4bc75bd.jpg

The horizontal ones all go in my toolbag and the Stanley is a spare in case I lose a 6" wide jaw. The Husky doesn't have a wide jaw (I like having my 6" wrenches go past 7/8") and the Pro-Point (far left) is soft metal and not very useful.

The rubber handled Mastercrafts all came in a set of 5 (I lost the 6") for $20 iirc. I am going to keep my eyes peeled for replacements for those because the rubber handles are more annoying than helpful. I am not in a rush on that though, so I'll wait until I spot a good deal on used ones somewhere.

If I had a bigger bag I'd probably jam a 15" in there too.

Not sure where all these are made.
