I wasn't sure whether to post this one on the Tiny Tools thread, or put it here... but since this topic is on page #1 today, here is my little Duro-Chrome 40607 - 7mm / 6mm DOE.

I liked the merged Duro Indestro logo on this pouch of hex keys I saw today, so I took a picture. Don’t need these, so did not buy.
I did buy a 5/8x3/4 shortie DBE (at least I hope that’s the (X) stamp).

Interesting find at an estate sale today: a "homeowner" 1/4" set, mostly complete. The box is missing the lid unfortunately.

I'm guessing its missing a breaker (I don't think a ratchet would fit)

Nothing exceptional or notable about these pieces found this morning, but I've actually never found a 3217 universal joint fully marked CHROMIUM VANADIUM before.

That’s a great looking set.
I picked up this Indestro 1/2” drive reversing ratchet with plug off of eBay for a pretty decent price.

Here is what I believe to be a wartime refrigeration set. I spotted it on eBay and had to have it. The sockets on the left in the first picture are branded Duro Chrome. The sockets on the right are D-I marked. The catalog picture is a similar prewar set.

Thanks, guys. I’m hoping to find a wartime catalog listing for the set to see if anything is missing. The cad plated tools are in very good condition.

I love coincidences like that. I thought that it was unmarked S-K but it didn’t quite match my others.

It took some digging, but I finally found my CHROMIUM VANADIUM grind off u-joint today. By the way, is the 15/16” D-I socket spoken for? I have a cad set missing that one. I had the missing 1” socket.

It's not spoken for, and I don't need it for the GMTK, but, I threw it in my orphan drawer, and I have three of them. Take your pick. I believe the one on the left is the one you're referring to. The middle looks natural steel. The one on the right is probably cad, too. I will trade you for a 3/4" and/or a 1-1/16" if you have them.

How about the one on the left and the middle one for a really nice and rare dark 1-1/16” and a 3/4”? I’ll get you pictures tomorrow.

The second one will be the final D-I socket I need for my masochist’s set. I swear that this is the last one of these I’ll do.

That may be but 5 of them is enough. Any more would go straight into hoarding territory. I received these lately. The ignition pliers are from 1945 and the u-joint is cad plated.

Got this 1/4 drive set in the mailbox today.
No manufacturers name stamped on any of it.

Thanks,Otg. I figured it was something like that.
I don't look for Duro or Indestro, but this set and especially the box seemed unique.
Walden is the only box I'd seen before that opens length-wise like this.

I do. I found quite a few of the sockets before Twertsy IDed them as being sold by Wards. I found my set shortly thereafter.
