you can get those drive plugs from KC Tool out of Kansas City but they're about $10 bucks a pop now.
those 4517 Duros I sent to you - I bought all of them that guy had.

^ The seller had no clue what they were, and was selling the package of four as one unit. I snagged all of them as soon as I saw them.
I think I have a dozen here after sending you those four.

^ you'd mentioned that previously in other posts - that's why I grabbed all of them and shot those four your way.
I have NO clue how many I will use until I sort through the Indestro.

Here is a '38 (I believe) Four Star Feature shallow hip roof 29 piece set. In going through the catalogs, seems the four star feature items were '37-'38 which should date this box, but this particular style box not in the '37-'38 catalogs available to me. This style box shown in black in the '36 catalog and blue in the '39. Assuming this box was therefore late '38. This set has double male-end extensions which are only in the 29 piece set pictured in '39 catalog, also those extensions are not shown in any other set and not available individually as best I can tell . This could explain their rarity.Z82_4929.jpgZ82_4930.jpgZ82_4932.jpg1939 socket sets001.jpg

This photo is also a group of which I love. Notice the craftsman double headed wrench. Well, in front of the craftsman is a double headed wrench marked Fulton. My expert advice giver Michael has searched and can find no listing in the early Sears catalog for this wrench.

Im going through all my old wrench sets now trying to complete them all.

I wish I could get buildups in my basement like that.

I have questions!
Where is this shrine?
Do you charge for entry?
What's with the self-deprecation in past posts?
and, in the context of that glorious collection, who the hell are you??

I don't know about previous posts in this thread, but I had the same reaction with respect to how @Patrick Eubanks 'es posts in other threads - where, if I am now reading it right, he has been diversifying his collecting outside of Long C, and still learning about other brands, etc - completely conceals the existence of a World Class Long C museum in his basement! :)
Looks like a perfect candidate to be included here in the Sticky
