Just wandering if this 1/2" tool was offered in the =V= series or did it stop with the BE & circle H series?

Maybe even later, I’m not sure. I sold several on eBay some time back. They sold quickly. It’s unusual to see a =v= tool with a part number IMG_5023.jpegIMG_9755.png

I've never seen this tool marked=V= before, especially with a part number.

Anyone ever seen a circle H socket "without" the underline C? This one is stamped like the =V= series, but it's a knurled circle H socket??

Nevermnd, they do have knurling. I have most of a 3/8 swivel set. I always assumed it was late 40's production, as they switched from NB to MDF. The ones on either side are more cosmoline covered than rusty (earlier BE set).

=V= era, MDF. 50-60s, were sold alongside the electric impacts. Not too many of them that I have seen (seems about as rare or rarer than whitworth in my area).

It’s not a socket but check out the flex handle in the early =v= 1/4” drive set on the left. The ratchet doesn’t have the =v= like the more conventional set on the right. IMG_1905.jpegIMG_5134.png

Picked up these long c items at an estate sale yesterday. The offset dbe’s are not in great shape but normally you don’t find these in the wild. Also super stoked about the 4” vanadium adjustable. Paid $1 per item 😮. The die is pretty big in person. You can see the measurements on my tail gate just for comparison IMG_1663.jpeg

Dude, you killed it. Do you know what you purchased at that sale? Not common. Did it come with the drive plug. Did you seriously only pay $2?😮😮😮

Probably, usually all the good stuff is gone on the second day of estate sales when things are half-price.

^ Something tells me that Mr. Halverson doesn't waste a lot of his time poring over ebay's "sold" listings.

If you can not find what you are interested in locally and cheap, then get interested in something you can find locally and cheap. It is just not worth it, but I think you have to be an old white haired person and seen what they have to believe that.

^ that ratchet has no production code stamped on it?

what about the other side of the face plate?
All three of the 1/4” drive ratchets in these sets are missing the =v= which I would expect to see on them.

Here are some spare 1/4” drive Circle H tools and BE sockets

Hit up the swap meet this weekend. Found some good stuff
-2 long c dbe's
- free long c screwdriver
-another long c dbe to go with the ones I found last week. I dont find these often and now all of a sudden I find them 2 in a row?

**weird drag link screwdriver extension** I havent seen this before ? Doesnt look home made.... Fits on the end of a 3/8 drive tool. Maybe I just missed these in the catalog?

There were simple screwdriver bits available, but not sure about era. But that one could also be a cut down extension.
