I like those tools, too. Recently caulked a shower/tub that had what we thought was a mysterious plumbing leak, dripping into the Underground Lair below. Turns out that all this time it was 100% a caulk issue and boy did I feel stupid...
Best tip I picked up on the intertoobz, probably from a This Old House video, was laying out the boundaries of what I wanted to do with the caulk using painter's tape, then caulking.

Dad picked up this socket for me at Tractor Supply today. 15mm 12 point deep socket. I can use that on my Fords and Volkswagen lol. Don’t really like 12 point but a free socket is a free socket lol. They don’t even sell individual metric 3/8 sockets at either of my local Tractor Supply stores anymore. They done away with the 3/8 ones a couple years ago I guess because tractors and farm equipment are mostly SAE.

Picked this set up on eBay for $20 can’t beat that. Two missing one broken. Will get the broken one warrantied and replace the missing ones. TEQ brand that was Advance Auto brand before Diehard. Wanted this for the house as I’m always needing these. Plus I love auto parts store tools so perfect for me.

I needed to drill a 3/4" hole in my garage door and my Ace Hardware coupon was about to expire.
I wanted a Milwaukee but the smallest available was 7/8" and the arbor was a little too pricey for me.
I'll see how this works out.

did you get the Wilde hose clamp pliers from Harry Epstein?Picked up some Malco's as well as a couple smaller Irwin's. Man those Malco's are shiny! A couple Bahco adjustable wrenches and a pair of Wilde hose clamp pliers. Also a pair of Milbar safety wire pliers.

New spring compressor set (returned the Harbor Freight one which could not get close enough to span three coils on my BMW's springs. I watched a number of videos of folks doing E46 springs and this type fit better than any others. I also liked that the screw can't bend on this kind.
Before using, I cleaned the screws and applied EP grease. It turned so easily. I could not see any thread wear after one use. Tentatively recommended. (I got the extra-special "Hevay" Duty kind!

Cheap thin wrenches. Held the sway bar ball ball joints while removing the nuts. My regular ones were pushing the boot off.
Wrenches from the Amazon page that @WWheeler first pointed out, but these are the flex heads.
Heavy. Will say more once I've used them on some suspension bolts.
Diagonal cutters and 2lb ball peen. 30% off HF coupon for 5 items under $20, and the cutters were $19.99
Pliers wrench, $40 . but I've been waiting more than 6 months for these to be in stock locally, so I got them before they vanish instead of waiting for a coupon.

For those pondering getting a Knipex pliers wrench, and wanting to get the real thing, Harry J. Epstein's has some "last year's model" Knipex pliers wrenches for sale at $49.95 (plus shipping, which is always fair there.)
When it comes to HF, I must say, if it's made in Taiwan, it's usually surprisingly good and for a great price. But $40 doesn't seem so great to me... but full disclosure, I really don't have an opinion about the ICON copy. What I do have an opinion about is how awesome my Knipex PW's are!
And only $6.99 today so it probably costs them less than $3. I figured @qqzj was teasing me for buying cheap tools or something?
I'm sure it'll be fine for most jobs. You're punishing poker cheaters in Vegas, right?

I haven't "caught up" on modern life by watching that one yet. I did watch The Wire about four years ago and then again, about two years later. Highly recommend it! Good for winter nights with a pet on your lap.
I bought $10 hammer off of Amazon a few years ago, supposedly dead blow, plastic body ball peen hammer, metal caps for the flat and peen ends. My only review for that is... I can't bring myself to use it hard. What if it's ****? But I do trust that "metal head and wooden handle" is something China can get right. And I later bought a highly-recommend-round-these-parts, much larger and truly-dead-blow ball peen, Snap On type, later on. I trust that one! Good stuff; everybody was right about that one.
They also have some parrot-beak Raptors, and dykes, and cable shears. At their website, look for the category, "Industrial Quality Hand Tool Liquidation, Closeouts and Surplus", then look for Knipex on the brand column on the left. Prices are good, instead of the usual "ouch."

You're thinking about it the wrong way. They're not $40. They're $30-32 depending on the coupon and if they have them in stock when you have said coupon.
Waiting for those two events to line up may be a problem if you really need the tool right now. If you'd like to have them "just in case", then check the astrology report

Picked up a NOS SK 3/8 extension set from eBay.
Then while I was shopping, I decided to up my screw driver game and purchased a lightly if ever used set of Snap-On Instinct screwdrivers.
Got a few more things coming later this week, a set of Snap-On mini screw drivers and a Armstrong Punch set I picked up from Cripes.

They stop you over-feeding material into the blade.
Beat me to it. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet on anything. It was on sale on amazon and I needed a couple of other things so I figured why not grab it now and have it for later.

Zipper Lube stick...... Never heard it called that before. I wonder if that's a highly used product in the ***** arena

Some new tools showed up today. First up a Cornwell 3/4 drive 1-1/2 socket for dads truck. Bought a deep 1/2 drive one last week but wanted to get the 3/4 too because it’s a tight plug. Then a Sunex 7/16 square plug socket. That’s to change the oil in grandmas mower. I wish it was 3/8 drive but oh well 1/2 will have to do.

I remember 3-IN-ONE and Door-Ease in on my dad's oil-tray fifty years ago. The 3-IN-ONE looks pretty similar (can itself is different) but did Door-Ease used to be in a yellow tube?
